Your Gigabot can print many types of plastic filament. Any 3mm diameter plastic filament that can be extruded at less than 245C will print with your Gigabot. The re:3D engineering team has tested the following filaments on Gigabot:

PLA -Recommended for ease of printing and versatility of use

  1. Hot-end temp of 200-220C
  2. Bed temp 60C with BuildTak or 70C with blue painter's tape
  3. Print speed of 3600 - 6000mm/min

ABS -More resistant to harsh environments but more warp and twist than PLA

  1. Hot-end temp of 220-230C
  2. Bed temp 85C with BuildTak or 100C with blue painter's tape
  3. Print speed of 3000mm/min

Ninja SemiFlex

  1. Hot-end temp of 215-220C
  2. Bed temp 20-50C with BuildTak
  3. Print speed of 1800mm/min

EcoFlex PLA -Flexible PLA

  1. Hot-end temp of 210-220C
  2. Bed temp 40C with BuildTak
  3. Print speed of 1500mm/min
